We specialize in Institutional / Commercial / Industrial (ICI) and Residential construction throughout Eastern Ontario. We are currently seeking a Superintendent/ Foreman with a passion for ICI construction to join our growing team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the construction site, own workers, subtrades and suppliers to ensure constant progression of project.
- Planning, scheduling, and organizing of day to day on site operations.
- Assist in creating and monitoring project schedules
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Conduct material takeoffs and orders.
- Coordinate multiple subcontractors and suppliers
- Communicate with Project Manager.
- Interact with Consultants and Clients during construction
- Quality Control to ensure work conforms to specifications & code requirements
- Oversee Health & Safety on their job site
- Delegation of tasks to fellow team members
- Assist trades and suppliers when required
- Other general construction duties as required for ICI projects
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- A Minimum of 5+ years of related ICI construction experience, as a Site Superintendent.
- Must posses strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised and lead small and large work crews
- Working knowledge of all trades associated with ICI construction.
- Demonstrated ability to read, understand and communicate construction drawings to other workers.
- An understanding of the Ontario Building Code as it applies to construction
- Strong troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work with subtrades and clients
- Valid G-License and clean driving abstract
- Hard working, highly motivated, honest and reliable individual
- Construction Training Courses (i.e. Supervision, Working at Heights) / Other courses are assets.
- Bilingualism is an asset.
- Must provide their own standard construction tools and PPE (steel-toe boots, hammer, tool belt, measuring tape, circular saw, reciprocal saw, etc.).
