FULL-TIME SKILLED LABOURER POSITION

Grant-Marion Construction Ltd recently celebrated 50 years in business.

We specialize in Residential and Institutional / Commercial / Industrial (ICI) construction throughout Eastern Ontario. We are currently seeking to hire a full time Skilled Labourer with a passion for construction to join our growing team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• General construction duties as required for residential and commercial projects
• Rough carpentry & framing
• Manual labour such as excavation/backfill
• General site clean up
• Assist trades and suppliers when required
• Complete variety of tasks as directed
• Loading and unloading of material

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 5 years experience in the construction industry
• General knowledge of construction equipment and materials
• Working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Valid G-License
• Clean driving abstract
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to take instruction and carry out tasks
• Hard working, highly motivated, honest and reliable individual
• Must provide their own standard construction tools and PPE (steel-toe boots, hammer, tool belt, measuring tape, circular saw, reciprocal saw)
• Construction Training Courses (i.e.Working at Heights, Propane, Traffic Control, etc.) are assets.
